Some are returning after months of hard work, some after years of chasing dreams, and some simply to feel the warmth of home again.

Penang, I’m coming back.
Not just as a traveler, but as someone returning to roots, to love, to the place where every corner feels familiar and comforting.

In 2026, I realized something important:

This year, I wish not only for红包 (red packets) but also for:

So while enjoying Penang’s famous food — char kway teow, asam laksa, nasi kandar, cendol — I remind myself: enjoy, but also take care. Balance is the new luxury.
