It's hard to digest but it’s true.

Recently, we worked together with TEDxPetalingStreet Adventure, Entomal, and Taylor's University Impact Lab to organize a fun but informative "Building a Community at Taylor’s University" - an event dedicated to raise awareness about biowaste treatment and organic by-product upcycling.

Interestingly, participants learned how Black Soldier Fly larvae, known as nature's waste warriors, consume organic waste, thus helping to mitigate the food waste issue organically.

This initiative is part of our long journey to support sustainability and community engagement.

🌟 Back to Penang for CNY 2026 — A Journey Home, A Heart Full of Joy

Finally… it’s time to head back to Penang for Chinese New Year! 🧧✨
The moment I packed my luggage, my heart already started racing with excitement. The familiar roads, the warm sea breeze, the aroma of hawker food, and the laughter waiting at home — everything feels like a gentle call saying, “Come back, it’s time.”

Chinese New Year is never just a festival.
It’s a journey.
It’s a reunion.
It’s a reminder of who we are and where we come from.

As the car moves forward, the city slowly fades behind us, replaced by highways filled with families heading home. Each vehicle carries more than just people and luggage — it carries stories, memories, and hopes for a better year ahead. Some are returning after months of hard work, some after years of chasing dreams, and some simply to feel the warmth of home again.

Penang, I’m coming back.
Not just as a traveler, but as someone returning to roots, to love, to the place where every corner feels familiar and comforting.

🌿 Health: The True Meaning of “Prosperity”

In 2026, I realized something important:
Real prosperity is not just about money or success — it’s about health.

Chinese New Year greetings often include words like “Good Fortune,” “Wealth,” and “Success.” But what if the most precious blessing is simply being healthy enough to sit at the same table, laugh together, and enjoy a meal with family?

This year, I wish not only for红包 (red packets) but also for:

Peaceful minds

Strong bodies

Enough rest

Genuine smiles

Because no matter how busy life gets, health is what allows us to come home, to celebrate, and to embrace the people we love.

So while enjoying Penang’s famous food — char kway teow, asam laksa, nasi kandar, cendol — I remind myself: enjoy, but also take care. Balance is the new luxury.

💛 Happiness: The Small Moments That Matter

Happiness doesn’t always come from big achievements.
Sometimes, it’s hidden in the smallest moments:

The sound of fireworks in the distance 🎆

The smell of mom’s cooking in the kitchen 🍲

The messy living room filled with relatives and laughter

The late-night conversations with cousins and old friends

The simple joy of saying, “I’m home.”

Penang has a special magic.
It doesn’t shout. It whispers.
It reminds us that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.

In 2026, I choose to slow down a little.
To appreciate more.
To complain less.
